Loeffler Randall. Acne Studios. Givenchy. Marni. Birkenstock.

Loeffler Randall. Acne Studios. Givenchy. Marni. Birkenstock.

Hey lovas, I know its been a while and I promise not to abandon you again. I love this - talking about shoes, looking at shoes, and more importantly buying shoes. As you all may or may not know, I moved to LA and in the mist of trying to get adjusted decided it just wasn't for me and now I'm back in the NYSizzle and ready to get ish poppin' again. Anywhot, enough of that crap.

There are so many scrumptious sandal options to choose from for this spring and summer, but I am personally all over the 'jesus be cools' as I like to call them AKA Birkenstocks or slide-ons. Now we all know this style has been done and done and done again. In fact, most of us rock these sandals back in JHS, but I can never get enough.

Ranging from breaking open the piggy bank to ATM friendly, here are a few that I want to add to my spring #shoecollection. Enjoy.

Flower chid Ash slides. Available at Bergdorf Goodman for $175.

The classics - Birkenstock Arizona. Available here for $129.

You can never go wrong with Sophia Webster - EVER. Available at Bergdorf Goodman $375.

Dolce Vita does a chic 'wear every day' version in black and nude. Available here $105.

Steve Madden chic and affordable. Available here $89.

Step it up a notch with these lovely Loeffler Randall 'jesus be cools' with a kick. Available at Saks $350.

Step light and right with this flatform style from semi-new brand Flamingos. Available here $245.

For the budget fashionista stop by Nine West and snatch up two pair one in gold and one in silver. Available here $69.

My favorite pair of them all, up and coming shoe designer Minna Parikka, better known for their bunny ear sneakers, has this fun, flirtatious pair that I most certainly need STAT. Available here $421.

These few barely scratch the surface of whats out there. So as always, get ta shoppin ;0)!

Flat Out Fabulous

Hey lovas, I hope you all had a marvelous holiday weekend. I know I sure did! It was a much needed break and I kicked my feet up in Philly at the infamous Made In America Music Festival. Aside from the washout on Sunday, it was a pretty fun time. Now it's back to business and shoes!

Kicking off this week is the underrated flat. I mean I love a good heel. In fact, unless I am purchasing sandals for summer or ballet flats to kick around on the weekend, I have to admit that I've overpassed this style on more than one occasion.

To my dismay, but I'm sure beknownst to the rest of the shoe-addicts in the world, flats don't have to be seen as just a 'break' from those sky high Tom Ford's, Brian Atwood's or Louboutin pumps - no, no, no - flats can be the anchor to the chicest looks. Darling, flats don't have to fall flat!

Refresh an outfit or create an entirely new look, my Flat Out Fabulous how-to guide will have you running to the nearest retailer for purchase.

ROCKER CHIC

Rock these studded flats with a white t, boyfriend jeans and a motorcycle jacket. Add a couple pieces of jewelry, a great bag and red lip and pow, you're ready for a night out with the girls or a dress down day at the office.

Find items here: Old Navy (t-shirt), Valentino Rockstudd Flats, Boyfriend JeansNars Heat Wave, Givenchy Rottweiler Tote, Saint Laurent Leather Motorcycle Jacket, Saint Laurent Studded Flats, Kelly Wearstler Necklace and Fenton Fallon stacked rings.

LEADING LADY

For the Jackie O in all of us, flats are not a new phenomenon, but update your look by checking for a metallic, ankle detail or super rich color. Keep it simple and chic with minimal jewelry, a nude lip and my favorite of all - gold ball stud earrings.

Find items (or similar items) here: Metallic Jimmy Choo Flats, Rebecca Minkoff Quilted Bag, Nicholas Kirkwood Orange flats, Gold Ball Stud Earrings, Stovepipe Pants, Pussybow Tie Button down, Make Up Forever Nude Lipstick, Cube Ring, Aquazzura Flats and Valentino Mini Dress.

SPORT NOUVEAUX

You can step out in style with the trend du jour of the season, kicks (check earlier post), without looking a mess. Pop on a red lip - this will take you a long way in any look, some jewels, leather backpack and a layered outfit and you're good to go! P.S. The layers make it easy for you to take this look from day to night AND the backpack is not only chic, but roomy enough for storing the items you've removed. Can I get holler for utility!

Find items (or similar) here: Jimmy Choo Suede Skater Slip On, Fenton Fallon Chain Bracelet, Phillip Lim Sweatshirt Dress, Chanel Leather Espadrilles, Fenton Fallon Chain Necklace, Army Green Vest, Leather Jogging Pants, McQ Alexander McQueen Leather Backpack, and Nars Heat Wave

STEPPIN' PREPPY

The preppy look has always called for flats. It's my favorite look for the weekend and can carry me from brunch to a date with the boo to drinks with my girls. Spice up it with, yes a red lip, some statement jewelry, or a denim dress to add fun and flare.

Find items (or similar) here: J. Crew Schoolboy Blazer, Boyfriend Jeans, Chain Link Chocker, Ferragamo Flats, Pave Gold Cuff, Coach Bag, White T, J. Crew Ballet Flats, Denim Dress and a poppin' red lip

Ciao bellas.

P.S. If you can't already tell, a red lip is my signature. I rock it with almost everything so pardon the bias. I promise to showcase other colors as I have 'em all, but a red lip is sheer perfection. Besos!

Shoe News: The Bargain Shoe

Lets face it gyals, we'd all love to purchase a pair of shoes for under $100, but either our taste is way too expensive (insert my name here) or some shoes have just become wayyy overpriced. We also refuse to sacrifice quality, at least I know I do, but price isn't always indicative of quality.

And that brings me today's shoe news - the Bargain Shoe. We've all considered it, in fact I'm certain some of you have even purchased from one of these newly minted sites. With the rise of the of the bargain shoe that doesn't sacrifice quality every woman can shop to her hearts content, find a great pair of shoes and not break the bank in the process.

Below are my top three bargain shoe sites and the deals are SOOOO GOOD, I have to try 'em!

SHOEMINT

Launched in 2011 as a collaboration between Rachel Bilson and celebrity stylist Nicole Chavez, Shoemint has been a go-to for women who want high-quality, low-priced footwear. I perused the site and there are some pretty chic options to help spice up any wardrobe. The most fun part is actually signing up where you're asked a few questions that range from your overall style to your heel height preference. Upon completion, you're taken to your 'showroom' that features top recommendations based on responses - gotta love technology. Below are my top choices....

From left to right (clockwise): Karina, Gwen, Paloma and Classic Pump.

Above shoe prices range from $25-$100

JUSTFAB

Led by the infamous Kimora Lee Simmons who serves as the Creative Director, JustFab sells not only chic, quality, footwear, but also handbags, jewelry and denim - talk about a one stop shop! Founded in 2010, JustFab has become a staple in the world of Fashionista and Celebrity - Adrienne Bailon, Angie Harmon, Christina Applegate and Lindsay Lohan, just to name a few - have all be spotted rockin' a pair of shoes and looking fab doing so!

From left to right (clockwise): Sanna, Domika, Aquene, Vernon, Evangela and Cosmia.

Above shoe prices range $39.95 - toute suite

P.S. As a first time buyer, your initial purchase is only $9.99 - I MEAN COME ON!

SHOEDAZZLE

Sisterbrand to Just Fab and the very first to hit the scene in 2009, Shoedazzle has a top shelf selection of variety and perfectly edited shoes - and when you count Rachel Zoe as the Chief Stylist that comes as no surprise. The more expensive of the three, Shoedazzle boast designer collections at affordable prices likes of Gwen Stefani, Report Signature, and Izabella Rue. Like the others, upon entry into the site, you're prompted to answer questions that define your shoe personality et al.

From left to right (clockwise): Orchid, Akane, Stelle, Allon, Eiko, and Hiroki.

Above shoe prices range from: $59-$80

P.S. Similar to JustFab your first purchases on the site are almost 80% off! SERIOUSLY!

Happy shoepping lovers and get those closets ready for fall - affordability is no longer a hindrance.
